Plymouth Community Ambulance Association Makes History with Acquisition of State-of-the-Art Fat Truck FT3 Wagon
A First-of-Its-Kind Asset Elevating Emergency Response in Pennsylvania
January 7, 2026 – Plymouth Meeting, PA
PLYMOUTH COMMUNITY AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION (PCAA) is proud to announce the acquisition of a brand-new Fat Truck FT3 Wagon, a cutting-edge, all-terrain emergency response vehicle designed to operate where traditional vehicles cannot. The FT3 Wagon Fat Truck can go where other ATV/UTV vehicles cannot.
Manufactured by Zeal Motor Inc. in Canada, the Fat Truck is internationally recognized for its ability to traverse extreme terrain including flood zones, snow, mud, ice, steep grades and water — ensuring access during some of the most challenging emergency conditions imaginable.
With this acquisition, PCAA is believed to be the first ambulance organization in Pennsylvania to own and operate a Fat Truck as part of its emergency response capabilities. “This is about readiness, resilience, and responsibility,” said Chief Thomas Trojansky of Plymouth Community Ambulance Association. “When emergencies happen, conditions are rarely ideal. This vehicle ensures our crews can reach people when others simply can’t.”
A Regional Statement in Emergency Preparedness
While PCAA’s primary service area remains Plymouth Township and surrounding communities, the significance of this acquisition extends far beyond municipal borders. Within an eight-hour drive of Pennsylvania, ambulance services and emergency organizations across New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Virgini, and the greater Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region operate without access to this level of terrain-capable response technology.
The addition of the Fat Truck FT3 Wagon positions Plymouth Community Ambulance Association as a regional leader in forward-thinking emergency preparedness, setting a new benchmark for innovation in pre-hospital care support.
Built for the Worst-Case Scenario – THIS VEHICLE CAN GO WHERE NO OTHER VEHICE CAN GO.
The Fat Truck FT3 Wagon is not an ambulance replacement — it is a force multiplier. It is the “Big Brother” to our current 6-wheel UTV mini-ambulance and it is designed to:
- Access flooded neighborhoods and disaster zones
- Reach remote or obstructed areas during severe weather
- Support search, rescue and medical response operations
- Transport personnel and critical equipment when roads are impassable
This investment reflects PCAA’s long-standing commitment to safety, preparedness and proactive service to the community.
Looking Ahead
As emergency response challenges continue to evolve, Plymouth Community Ambulance Association remains committed to investing in our EMT’s and Paramedics, tools, training and technology that enhance safety for patients, responders, and the community at large.
Sometimes leadership isn’t about being the biggest. Sometimes it’s about being the most prepared.
