Attention Plymouth Township Residents!!!!!

Plymouth Township Go Green 4TH of July Parade 2020 10am Start

As we are moving into the GREEN PHASE of re-opening as a community, we wanted to thank the residents and businesses of Plymouth Township for their generous support during this pandemic. With the normal July 4th events being cancelled due to COVID-19, the Township Emergency Services are planning a township wide 4th of July Parade. We have created a parade route to bring this parade to you and help maintain social distancing. The parade will attempt to reach most areas and neighborhoods of the township, however we will not be able to hit every street so when you hear the sirens in your neighborhood come outside dressed in your RED, White and BLUE and give us a wave and cheer.

The COVID-19 crisis has changed much of what we all consider normal life.  During this crisis, the Plymouth Township Emergency Services continued to operate but with major changes and restrictions to our everyday operations.  During COVID we were requested by many local township residents to help them celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, special milestones for seniors and Healthcare recognition drive-by events.  The Township Emergency Services participated in well over 150 of these events.  We thank you for including us in your special events however, as we move more into the Green phase, we will no longer be participating in these events so that we can allow more normal celebrations to start to take place once again. This parade will serve as a cumulation of these events.

We can’t thank you all enough for your support!  The Plymouth Township community has graciously donated water, food, masks, sanitizer, gloves, monetary donations and much more to assist the Township Emergency Services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Help us spread the word and tell all your neighbors about this event.  We strongly encourage during the parade to continue to be socially distance yourselves and wear a mask.

The 37-mile-long parade has a turn by turn route. The times listed are approximated in each area, so please allow for a plus or minus 10-minutes to this schedule.

Please review the following Parade route and proceed to the closet street that it will pass your residence.  We look forward to seeing you all on July 4th!
